Career opportunities in special education and disability services have never been better. Public schools are experiencing critical shortages of special education teachers nationwide, school systems, regional agencies, and state divisions of education are always hiring administrators and supervisors to support special education programs, and colleges and universities conduct numerous faculty searches for special education every year.

As a graduate with CERTIFICATION IN SPECIAL EDUCATION in one or more areas of specialization, you will be eligible for teaching positions throughout the state of West Virginia, in many other states, and in some international locations.
