There are many student organizations on the campus of West Virginia University. These organizations provide an opportunity for students to pursue interests that extend beyond their classroom activities.

- Some are of particular interest to students who are preparing to teach or work in other positions in education.
- Some are of interest to students who are preparing to become speech-language pathologists or audiologists.
- Some have a broader appeal, such as groups that focus on an extracurricular
interest, community service organizations, social fraternities and
sororities, and organizations with religious affiliations. A list
of student organizations on campus is available on the WVU website.
