Membership and Responsibilities

Membership shall consist of one elected member from each department and ICDI and one at-large member. The charge of the committee shall include, but is not limited to, the following:

a. Promoting faculty research and scholarship and providing the faculty with opportunities for means of advancing their professional contributions in teaching, research, and service.

b. Identifying and selecting faculty members for the Outstanding Researcher Award.

c. Establishing the College's service priorities and selecting winners of service awards.

d. Reviewing human subjects review policy.

e. Maintaining a written summary of pertinent actions and decisions and committee member attendance of each meeting. The records will be available to individual members of the Faculty Assembly upon request.
