College of Human Resources & Education Student Travel Program

Undergraduate and graduate students who are making presentations at regional or national conferences may now apply for travel support from the College of Human Resources & Education. Travel support funds may be used for
  1. registration,
  2. transportation,
  3. mileage,
  4. lodging,
  5. meals,
  6. or other approved travel related expenses.

The maximum amount of funding for travel that will be awarded to an eligible undergraduate and masters student is $400. The maximum amount of funding for travel that will be awarded to an eligible doctoral student is $500. The maximum amount of funding for dissertation research that will be awarded to a eligible doctoral student is $1000.


To apply for a Student Travel Award, print and complete the appropriate application for support form (undergraduate, master’s, or doctoral – available on the web) and submit the form to the appropriate department chair for review and signature. Completed forms will be sent by the department to Rosemary Hriblan, Dean’s Office, Room 802D Allen Hall. Written notification of awards can be expected within two weeks after submission to the Dean’s Office.
