Members of the College's Student Education Association (SEA) who are preparing to become teachers took their literacy skills out of regular classrooms and into hospital rooms shortly before Thanksgiving.  Their efforts were part of a Read Aloud  program for volunteers at  WVU Children's Hospital.

On two evenings groups of the future teachers fanned out on the sixth floor of Ruby Memorial Hospital to share their enthusiasm for reading and to leave behind the brand new books that they had just read aloud from with the young patients.

SEA member Megan Malone worked with Ms. Caludia Asvestos, who coordinates volunteer activities in this area, to plan the Read Aloud visits.
