Alumni
Share Their Half-Time Enthusiasm at Pitt Game
More than 75 alumni and other friends of the College came
together during half-time during the WVU vs. Pitt basketball
game on February 16th to share their enthusiasm - especially
with WVU's half-time lead.
The event, sponsored by the College's Alumni Association,
was held in a classroom on the second floor of the Coliseum.
Participants had time to grab something cold to drink, a pepperoni
roll and a cookie and chat with others from the College before
returning to their seats for the second half of the game.
Kaye McCrory, who chaired the evening's activities, took a
break from making sure there was enough food for everyone
to talk with a former colleague. Others took the opportunity
to renew acquaintances with friends or professors.
"I'm especially pleased to see how this has grown each year,"
said Bill Rosier, president of the College's alumni organization.
"I hope we can continue to serve alumni through these
kinds of activities.."
The next HR&E Alumni Event is the Spring Supper on May
15th. The dinner is free to all alumni and a guest. To register
for the Spring Supper email: cpytlik@wvu.edu
