From Interstate #79, take the Star City exit (which is also the exit for the WVU Coliseum).
At the bottom of the ramp:
---If you are coming from the north, turn left.
---if you are coming from the south, turn right.
Continue on this road through three traffic signals.
You will pass a mall entrance and a Sheetz gas station on your right. You will then cross a bridge. Go through the third traffic signal and up the hill. At the top of the hill the WVU Coliseum will be on your right, and there will be a fourth traffic signal.
Turn left at the fourth traffic signal. You are now on Patteson Drive. Continue on this road until you reach the second traffic signal.
You will pass a Burger King and a Krogers grocery on your right.
At the second traffic signal, turn right. You are now on University Avenue. Continue on this road through the next traffic signal.
You will pass under the PRT (Personal Rapid Transit) rails.
At the first corner after the traffic signal, turn right. You are now on Oakland Street.
Continue on Oakland through the stop sign. The Towers (dormitories) will be on your right. Continue up the hill past the Towers.
Turn right into Lot 50. This is the closest parking area to Allen Hall and the College of Human Resources & Education. Allen Hall is the tall building at the top right end of Lot 50.
Alternative Parking:
If Lot 50 is full, there are additional parking places on the other side of Allen Hall (Lot 46 and the adjacent paid parking area). To get to the other side of the building, go back down Oakland Street to the stop sign and turn left. Turn left again at the next stop sign. Follow this road until you are behind Allen Hall. You will see Lot 46 and an adjacent paid parking area on your right. There is also a smaller part of Lot 46 further up the hill on your left.
Note: Percival Hall and Allen Hall are connected. If you see a sign for Percival Hall, you can enter there and still reach Allen Hall without exiting the building.
