A vital element
in the education of an exemplary teacher is the role of Arts and
Sciences. At WVU, the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences provides
the cornerstone for preparing teachers who are liberally educated
and who have met the standards of students who graduate from universities
as civically minded, intelligent members of society. Equally important,
the Eberly College provides a solid foundation in preparation in
the content areas in which students choose to teach. The faculty
in the Eberly College are key partners in the success and national
reputation of the Benedum Collaborative and the Five-Year Teacher
Education program.

of Human Resources & Education
The
College of Human Resources and Education serves as the logistical
and administrative center of the Benedum Collaborative. Faculty
from each of its four departments work with the partnership activities.
Faculty work as liaisons to the PDS network and teach in the Five-Year
Program.
