College of Arts & Sciences
A vital element in the education of an exemplary teacher is the role of Arts and Sciences. At WVU, the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences provides the cornerstone for preparing teachers who are liberally educated and who have met the standards of students who graduate from universities as civically minded, intelligent members of society. Equally important, the Eberly College provides a solid foundation in preparation in the content areas in which students choose to teach. The faculty in the Eberly College are key partners in the success and national reputation of the Benedum Collaborative and the Five-Year Teacher Education program.
