Initiatives |

| TechNet was established by the Cross-site Steering Committee in 2003. This network of PDS and WVU faculty organizes and offers professional development to members of the Collaborative in the area of technology for educational purposes. Initiatives included offering workshops on Microsoft PowerPoint using Digital Images, Hand-held Computers, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Access; hosting a visit by Dr. Helen Barrett, internationally-recognized expert on electronic portfolios and digital storytelling; and offering mini-courses on developing professional electronic portfolios. | ||
